Capturing moments that make people go, “woah!” makes us ridiculously happy.
And happy is good.
Family Beach Vacation
When you live in “paradise” it’s sometimes easy to forget how truly beautiful it is. You know that hashtag #ilivewhereyouvacation ? I think I’ve only used it once, but it’s true. We are pretty lucky.
We had a family shoot right at the end of 2015 with this awesome family who was visiting the beach for the first time on their family vacation. 3-year-old Ainsley was beyond excited about the sand and sand castles. Duh. It was very cute. She did a great job of finishing the shoot before running off to sand-castle-land. I commend her. 3-year-old me would’ve been all about the ocean, zero about the photo shoot. :/
It was a fun and relaxed shoot. My favorite shots are the ones taken with a picture of Ainsley’s twin, Charlie. Charlie is no longer with us, but her memory lives on. The emotions that Ainsley showed when we took pictures of her with the pictures of her “sissy” were precious. It was special to be able to help create those memories with this family.

Friends! Today, we are grateful for our health. We’re mostly bummed that it’s not at 100% right now, but it makes it easy to be grateful for the fact that, 360 days of the year, we feel pretty darn good. I’ve gotta go rest myself back to health!! Stay healthy, my friends, and check out […]
