We finally got a serious cold front down here in southwest Florida, so it feels like FALL!! Fall is by far my favorite season and the one I miss most no longer living up in MA; however, every Columbus Day week, I take a trip back up and get to do some kick-ass sessions. Only downside is that Matt doesn’t get to come with me because he has to stay back and work — womp womppp. Anywayyyy, I had my fingers crossed that I’d get to do a traditional New England fall engagement session to take advantage of the foliage, and alas, I did!!
Allison found us online just a couple of months ago and booked us for her… wait for it… FALL wedding (EEEEKKKK!!!) next year at one of our all-time favorite venues, Locke Falls Farm in NH. We’re dying over it. It’ll be our first New England fall wedding and without question, it’s gonna be amazing. They’re getting married on 10.13, which, fun fact, is the anniversary of 2 of my best friends and one of their parents; good date, huh!?
Allison & Patrick’s son, Teddy, and their pup, Baby, joined us for the beginning of the session & then we frolicked about Maudslay State Park. It was my first time there and I’ll definitely be back. Allison & Patrick were awesome to work with; they’re both super nice, she’s a total natural beauty and he’s such a goofball, it made for a really fun session, even if Patrick totally got us lost and we almost lost all of the light before we made it to the gardens. 😉
sun flare, anyone?!
^^ one of my all-time faves.
^^ true story: there was a snake 6 inches from their feet that they noticed after I took this pic. I love snakes. They…… not so much. Lollll
^^ true story #2: promptly after I took this photo, I put her ring on my finger and it fell off. And then we found it. It’s fine.
Black & white me all day long, folks. I just freaking love it sometimessss!
<3 … and that’s a New England Fall engagement for ya. I hope you’re feeling like throwing on a scarf, boots and sippin’ on a pumpkin-spice somethin’. looool 🙂
